FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to immunology and analytical biochemistry, namely to a method for increasing sensitivity of immunochromatographic serodiagnostic analysis. In the presented method, conjugates of gold nanoparticles with immunoglobulin-binding protein are immobilized in the analytical zone of the working nitrocellulose membrane and antigen of the pathogenic organism on the immunochromatographic membranes connected to the test strip, and on the glass-fibre or polyester substrate. After the immunochromatographic analysis of the blood, plasma or serum samples, an additional stage of interaction of immune complexes bound in the analytic zone with a conjugate of quantum dots with an immunoglobulin-binding protein and further detection of bound quantum dots by their fluorescence is performed.
EFFECT: invention provides higher sensitivity of analysis by including an additional binding step with the quantum dot conjugate.
