FIELD: immunochromatographic analysis.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to immunochromatographic analysis. Method for increasing the sensitivity of immunochromatographic test systems with silver lactate and hydroquinone involves preliminary preparation of two membranes – nitrocellulose impregnated with 0.075 % silver lactate solution, and a membrane treated with 3 % hydroquinone solution prepared in 0.5 M citrate buffer with pH 4.0; assembling the ready multi-membrane composite of the immunochromatographic test system by gluing on the nitrocellulose membrane with the immobilized conjugate, the sample membranes and the absorbent membranes; testing the prepared immunochromatographic test system by adding 100 mcl of sample to the sample membrane; 10 minutes after introduction of sample on detectable zone of test system membrane impregnated with 3 % hydroquinone solution; applying on superimposed membrane 30 ml of 0.01 M Tris-HCl buffer with 1 M NaCl with 0.1 % Tween-20, pH 7.5, 5 minutes later membrane is removed with hydroquinone to detect antigen in test region.
EFFECT: invention provides higher sensitivity of immunochromatographic test systems for detecting both infectious and non-infectious agents, at least four times.
