FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, oncology, surgery, medical rehabilitation, physiotherapy and sports medicine, and can be used for restoration of walking function after lower limb amputation at the shin level and prevention of secondary changes of the locomotor system. Limb is truncated at the shin level. After bonesaw-line treatment, nerves ligation, nerve trunks crossing and soft tissues preparation to bonesaw-line shelter, in the distal portion of the shin of tibia along the outer surface with transition to the anterior and posterior parts of the tibia, a "groove" with smooth edges on all sides is formed to retain the fixing tape. 8-shaped cross-section tape is inserted or delivered through soft tissues at the level of the "groove" on the fibula bonesaw-line. Ends of tape are connected to each other by surgical unit with creation of tape tension.

EFFECT: method enables to avoid excessive local overload of soft tissues in areas most frequently exposed to it, prevented deformation of shin stump under non-closed growth zones due to absence of rigid adhesion between shinbones with possibility of insignificant displacement of shinbone relatively to tibia.
