FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of forming a fibre, a nonwoven web and an absorbent product. Method involves extrusion of a matrix polymer and a nano-additive to form a thermoplastic composition in which the additive-on-addition is dispersed in the continuous phase of the matrix polymer. Then the extruded thermoplastic composition is passed through a draw plate to form a fibre having a porous network containing a plurality of nanopores, wherein the average percentage volume occupied by nanopores within a given volume of a fibre unit ranges from 3 % to 15 % per cm3, where the matrix polymer contains a polyester.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain fibres with low density.
