FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to transient points intended for transmission of electric power from air section of line to cable section of power transmission line and vice versa. Digital transition station with control equipment comprises support with two sites at different levels, crossarms with insulators made with possibility of connection to wires of overhead transmission line, as well as located on upper platform for each phase of power transmission line: vertical-type disconnector with earthing switch, overvoltage limiter, digital optical current transformer and cable coupling, made with possibility of connection to power transmission line cable line. Disconnector of vertical type, overvoltage limiter and cable coupling are made with possibility of serial connection to each other by means of buses or wires, digital optical transformer is installed with possibility of measuring current flowing through said wires or busbars. Drive of disconnector with earthing switch, electronic-optical unit of current transformer and optical converter are arranged on lower platform. Disconnector is located above the coupling and fixed on the support.
EFFECT: creation of compact transition point with expanded functionalities (with possibility of passing current measurement, measurement signal transmission to substation control station, as well as connection and disconnection with grounding of de-energized sections of live circuits).
