SUBSTANCE: disposable diaper (1) according to the present invention is made with absorbent set (2) including absorbent element (23) and upper sheet (21). Diaper (1) is provided with a waist part. Belt part is divided into front part (F) and rear part (R). Rear part (R) has, as sheets forming it, hydrophobic sheet (31E), closing rear end (2R) of absorbent assembly (2), and absorbing sheet (10) located from skin facing side of hydrophobic sheet (31E). In the area (Q), in which absorbent sheet (10) and absorbent assembly (2) overlap in the thickness direction, the connection strength in the first connection zone (7U), in which absorbing sheet (10) and hydrophobic sheet (31E) are connected, is higher than the connection strength in the second connection zone (7D), in which hydrophobic sheet (31E) and upper sheet (21) are connected.

EFFECT: described is a disposable diaper.
