FIELD: agriculture; biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and biotechnology, in particular to growing tomatoes on low-water hydroponics in greenhouses with high roofing. Method of selecting tomato hybrids for industrial greenhouses includes selecting hybrids, growing seedlings, planting seedlings on mats in a greenhouse, caring for planted plants, phenological observations, harvesting and analysis of crops, calculation of economic efficiency and profitability of hybrids in comparison with control. Experiment involves high-height heterosis domestic selection hybrids for the third light zone. As seedlings plants with one blossoming brush are planted, at cultivation standardization of quantity of fruits on a plant is carried out, limiting on hand on 4 fruits. Tomatoes are collected three times a week, with intermediate control of plant height and leaves. Efficiency of hybrids is selected by weight, quality, yield and profitability considering vitamin C content and tasting assessment of fruits.
EFFECT: invention provides improved methods of testing and detecting high-productive, domestic diseases resistant to domestic heterosis tall tomato hybrids for extended turnover of modern greenhouse industrial plants exceeding existing imported varieties recommended by manufacturers for such greenhouses.
