FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to measurement of process parameter of industrial process. More specifically, this invention relates to measurement of pressure of process fluid used in such industrial process. Disclosed pressure sensor assembly for measuring process fluid pressure in a high-temperature environment comprises: an elongated sensor housing configured to withstand the effect of process fluid and having a cavity formed therein, a pressure sensor located in the elongated housing cavity, wherein the pressure sensor has at least one diaphragm configured to deflect in response to the applied pressure, and further comprising an electrical component having an electrical property varying as a function of deflecting at least one diaphragm to indicate the applied pressure and the flexible membrane in contact with at least one diaphragm, wherein the flexible membrane seals at least part of the cavity of the sensor housing from the process fluid medium and bends in response to the applied pressure, thereby causing deflection of at least one diaphragm.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing sealing of at least part of cavity of sensor housing from process fluid medium and bending in response to pressure applied by process fluid to deflect at least one diaphragm.
