FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to developer supply container to be detachably disconnected into developer receiving device and to developer supply system. Provided is engaging part 30, which is capable of engagement with part 11b to be engaged, displaced as an integral part of developer receiving section 11 during installation of reservoir 1 of developer supply for displacement of section 11 in direction U upwards in order to bring receiving hole into communication with outlet hole. Engaging part 30 includes a first engaging surface 31a extending in a U direction upward as it passes to a developer holding portion of the developer supply container 1, and a second engaging surface 32a provided in a position closer to the developer accommodation section than the first engaging surface 31a. When the receiving opening communicates with the opening of the shutter, the height of the end of the first engaging surface 31a close to the developer accommodation section is higher than the second engaging surface 32a.
EFFECT: improved sealing capacity (sealing property) of the connecting section between the developer supply container and the developer receiving section.
