FIELD: aerosols.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol generation system. Aerosol generation system comprises holder with end section and hole for cigarette insertion and configured to generate aerosol by heating material capable of generating aerosol in cigarette inserted into cigarette insert hole, and support with inner space for holder installation. Holder or support comprises at least one fastener to increase engagement force between holder and support using magnet force, support comprises power supply connector to holder, when it is inserted into inner space of support, inner space is formed on one side of support so that when holder is inserted into inner space of support, holder can be inclined between a first position in which the cigarette insert hole is completely concealed by the support and a second position in which the holder cigarette hole is completely open from the support, and the holder is connected to the support by means of the fastening element even in the second position, in which the hole for insertion of the cigarette in the holder is completely open from the support, so that power is supplied from support to holder. Holder provides generation of aerosol while heating cigarette both when it is separated from support, and when it is inserted into support and is inclined. When the holder is inclined, the heater is heated due to the power received from the battery of the support. Operation of the holder is continuously monitored in a state in which the holder is connected to the support and is inclined, and in a state in which the holder is separated from the support.
