The stand, to which the aerosol generating holder is removably attached, comprises: a stand accumulator configured to supply electric power to the holder heater or stand accumulator; and a stand processor configured to: identify a connection between the holder and the stand; receiving from the holder the remaining charge of the battery of the holder if the holder is connected to the stand, and controlling the battery of the stand to supply electricity to the heater if the received residual charge value is greater than or equal to a predetermined base value.
