METHOD FOR GENERATION OF CHAOTIC MICROWAVE PULSES OF SUB-NANOSECOND DURATION Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC H03B29/00 H03B5/00

Abstract RU 2740397 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in communication systems for transmitting information messages based on the use of chaotic microwave pulses of subnanosecond duration. Method consists in excitation by means of microstrip converters of surface and reverse bulk magnetostatic spin waves in arms of irregular L-shaped waveguide located in constant magnetic field, included in the feedback circuit of the self-contained generator, having two series-connected active elements, one of which is configured to operate in the mode of linear amplification of the microwave signal connected to the output arm of the waveguide, and the other connected to input arm of waveguide, in mode of saturation of its output power, generation of power level of microwave signal with possibility of formation of three-wave and four-wave nonlinear spin-wave interactions, wherein in the input arm of the waveguide inverse volume magnetostatic spin waves with negative anomalous dispersion are excited, and in the output arm - surface magnetostatic spin waves with positive normal dispersion by direct magnetic field direction perpendicular to input microstrip converter and parallel output microstrip converter, wherein four-wave nonlinear spin-wave interactions are formed in the input arm of the waveguide, and three-wave nonlinear spin-wave interactions are formed in its output arm.

EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining stationary sequences of microwave pulses in the form of dark solitons enveloping sub-nanosecond duration, which are "embedded" in chaotic microwave pulses in form of dark solitons envelope submicrosecond duration.
