FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave radio engineering, in particular to devices on magnetostatic waves and can be used as a power divider. The spin wave power divider contains a T-shaped microwave structure based on an yttrium- iron garnet film, which has a base and shoulders, placed on a gallium-gadolinium garnet substrate. On the basis of the T-shaped microwave structure there is an antenna for excitation of spin waves, and on the shoulders there are antennas for receiving spin waves, a source of an external magnetic field. The divider additionally contains a metallized layer located on the surface of the shoulders along their entire length between the base and the antennas for receiving spin waves located along the entire surface of the shoulders parallel to the metallized layer. The distance between the metallized layer and the antennas is from 300 to 1000 mcm, and between the metallized layer and the transition area from the base to the shoulders is from 100 to 500 mcm. The source of the magnetic field can change both the magnitude and the polarity of the magnetic field.
EFFECT: ability to control the propagation of magnetostatic waves between the outputs in a magnetic film with partial metallization of the surface by changing the magnitude and polarity of the external magnetic field.
