SUBSTANCE: invention relates to authentication system. Method comprising steps of causing a central processing unit (CPU) of a computer device to instruct an image capturing device to capture an image of a decorative device in visible light, wherein image capturing device generates first image data transmitted to computer device, through which are identified in visible light physical arrangement of all diamonds arranged in single article, causing the CPU of the computer device to instruct the image capturing device to capture the image of the decorative device with ultraviolet radiation, wherein image capturing device generates second image data transmitted to computer device, by which in the physical placement in the ultraviolet radiation, the diamond or diamonds are identified, having blue fluorescence equivalent to or stronger than the strong blue; and causing the computer CPU to compare the blue radiation layout indicated in the second image data with the physical location indicated in the first image data, with distinction of group of all diamonds in physical arrangement, having blue fluorescence equivalent to or stronger than strong blue, from group of all diamonds in single article, at least partially including a diamond or diamonds, not having blue fluorescence, equivalent to or stronger than strong blue.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling confirmation of the authenticity of the decorative device containing diamonds without the need to store data.
