SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire extinguishing methods using encapsulated extinguishing element, which shell is filled with fire extinguishing substance, and is intended for localization and remote fire extinguishing in enclosed premises, including during combustion of electrical equipment and substances reacting with water. In the fire-extinguishing element delivery method to the fire source, the extinguishing agent is tightly placed in a shell of a spherical shape made of gelatine, and delivered to the source by means of a pneumatic device. Pneumatic device represents a pneumatic automatic marker.

EFFECT: increased range, accuracy of throwing, reduced losses of fire-extinguishing substance, ease of use, safety for personnel.
