FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions containing calcium oxide, particularly curing accelerators for mineral binding substances, corresponding binder compositions and molded articles made therefrom. Composition, in particular a curing accelerator for mineral binding substances, containing or consisting of: calcium oxide in form of particles having average particle size D50 of less than 1000 mcm, a calcium oxide and water reaction inhibitor, wherein said inhibitor is selected from esters of polyatomic alcohols and phosphoric acid and/or carbohydrates, and optionally water. Binding composition containing said accelerator composition and additionally containing mineral binder composition component, in particular binder and/or aggregates. Molded article is obtained by curing said binder composition after addition of water. Use of said accelerator composition for faster setting and/or curing of mineral binding agents and/or binder compositions, in particular a cement-based binder composition, preferably a mortar composition and/or a concrete composition. Use of the ester of a polyhydric alcohol and phosphoric acid and/or carbohydrate for stabilizing the composition, containing calcium oxide and water, and/or for inhibiting reaction between calcium oxide and water.
EFFECT: technical result is providing a stable in time improved accelerator hardening of mineral binder.
