FIELD: medicine; oncology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for treating a painful condition associated with angiogenesis, which is a cancer disease in a warm-blooded animal. That is ensured by two cycles of administering the composition containing cediranib according to the fixed fractional dosing regimen. Said composition is introduced for five consecutive days of cycle, followed by two consecutive days of cycle, during which introduction of said composition is not carried out. Also, said composition is introduced for four consecutive days of cycle, followed by three consecutive days of cycle without introducing said composition.
EFFECT: invention enables reducing undesirable effects and toxicity by administering cediranib in treating cancer.
