FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used for charging accumulators of electric vehicles. Disclosed battery charging system for electric transport from mains voltage of 220 V provides for uniform charging of batteries connected in series into one accumulator battery, at that, accumulators are divided into groups, where each group has its own charging device. Battery charging system for electric transport from 220 V mains voltage includes limiting resistors, capacitors, transistors, stabilitrons, diodes, light-emitting diodes, fusible insert, contactor, two parallel charging branches, each of which includes five charging groups, as well as three lines providing charge from mains AC voltage of 220 V of series-connected accumulators with total voltage of 480-520 V.
EFFECT: as a result of using the proposed invention, charging efficiency of storage batteries for electric transport from alternating mains voltage of 220 V by providing a single voltage level on all batteries owing to that the charging system is equipped with batteries, resistors, transistors, diodes, diode lamps, stabilitrons, condensers, fusible insert and contactor connected in series to each other and divided into ten charging groups.
