FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a working wheel of a pump-turbine with humpback whirlbone hump structure. Wheel comprises one row of tubercles 2 of elongated ellipsoidal shape, which are superimposed on inlet edge 3 and simultaneously on working side 4 of blade 1. Back side 6 of blade 1 is made smooth. Row of tubercles 2 placed on side 4 is applied on 2/3 of its length. Frontal part 5 of row of tubercles 2 is made on surface of edge 3 of blade 1 and extends forward by 1/2 of body length of tubercle 2. Diameter of the cross-section of the body of tubercles 2 in the row towards the periphery varies smoothly as per the linear law. Ratio of the diameter of the cross section of first tubercle 2 in a row to the corresponding diameter of tubercle 2 near the periphery of the blade is equal to 2: 1. Step of cones 2 arrangement in alternating row. Diameter of the cross-section of the body of first tubercle 2 is 20% of the magnitude of the span of blade 1. Axis of rotation of the body of tubercles 2 in the row coincides with the axis of symmetry of the longitudinal section of blade 1. Number of tubercles 2 in the row depends on the diameter of the cross-section of the body of each tubercle 2, as well as the span of blade 1.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reduction of hydraulic losses in impeller and higher efficiency of turbine pump.
