FIELD: turbine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a vertical hydraulic turbine. The turbine contains an impeller 1 and blades 4 fixed on it. Each blade 4 is made in the form of a tube with an angle of rotation of 180° with different cross-sections of inlet and outlet openings. The inlet part of the blade 4 in cross section has the shape of a square, smoothly turning into a circle in the outlet section. The cross-sectional areas of the inlet and outlet holes are made with a ratio of approximately 2:1. The water supply is carried out from the side of the blade 4. At the point of contact of the blade 4 with the jet of the water flow, a cut-out 5 is made in the form of an ellipse to prevent the impact of the outer side of the blade 4 on the water flow. The edges of the cut-out are pointed.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the energy characteristics of the hydraulic turbine and increasing the efficiency.
