SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to psychiatry, and can be used for prevention of aggression of individuals aged 14 to 18 years with internet addiction. Method involves examination of a patient, in which the intensity of Internet addiction (SAD_Ch) and points are determined by the Chen scale, the total aggressiveness index (GIA_BD) and points are determined on the Buss-Durkey scale. That is followed by calculating a therapeutic approach selection coefficient (C_TS), scores by formula: C_TS= SAD_Ch+GIA_BD. If C_TS<80 points for 3-6 months, family psychotherapy is performed. If value C_TS≥80 points of family psychotherapy for 3-6 months are supplemented by administering 200 mg of carbamazepine in morning, afternoon and evening.

EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to practically exclude aggression in Internet users from age of 14 to 18 years old.
