SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a reminder method and device. Method includes determining that wearable device is not worn by user; and sending a reminder message to the user about the removed portable device, if the condition for reminding of the removed portable device is met. According to this method, when it is detected that the user has removed the portable device, and it is decided that the reminder condition is met, the user is issued a reminder in various forms, which prevents loss of the portable device.
EFFECT: claimed invention is aimed at preventing loss of portable device in public places and/or providing fast location of lost device.
