SUBSTANCE: invention relates to providing a notice on an electronic device. Electronic device comprises a transceiver for receiving status information from the wearer indicating whether a wearable device is used, and a processor configured to: in response to an occurrence of an event in the electronic device determining whether to send a notification request corresponding to an event to a wearable device, based on the status information received by the transceiver indicating that the wearable device is being used; and in response to the determination to send a notification to the wearable device on the basis of status information indicating that the wearable device is being used, control the transceiver to send a notification request to the wearable device, and if the wearable device is in the first mode, the notification to the wearable device is omitted.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the accuracy of determining the status of the wearable device.
