FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to combines for mining or development of deposits, and more specifically to a cutting mechanism for a combine for mining operations or development of deposits. Cutting device for cutting rock comprises disc, rotating around axis of rotation and including peripheral edge, multiple cutting elements, attached to disc, wherein cutting elements are located at a distance from each other along peripheral edge of disc, and plurality of wear elements attached to disc, wherein wear elements are located at a distance from each other and from cutting elements, wherein wear elements are made of material with hardness exceeding hardness of cutting elements.
EFFECT: technical result is resistance to wear of cutting device.
