FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of dissolving surfactants suitable for use in methods of increasing oil recovery in an aqueous medium by mixing said surfactant and an aqueous medium under ultrasound. Mixing is carried out in the absence of co-solvent. Highly concentrated solution is obtained, which can then be diluted with water available on the oil production site regardless of salinity. Invention also relates to aqueous solutions of surfactants obtained using said method and suitable for use in methods of increasing oil recovery. Said solution does not contain alcohol. Anionic surfactants are used, which are selected from olefin sulphonates, alkylaryl sulphonates, alkyl ethers of sulphates, lyresryl esters of sulphonates and a mixture of said surfactants.

EFFECT: invention simplifies dissolution of surfactants while improving dissolution efficiency and increasing oil recovery.
