FIELD: lamination.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a laminating adhesive composition and a method for production thereof. Laminating adhesive composition comprises a) a first prepolymer containing a product of reacting methylenediphenyl diisocyanate and a first polyol, and b) a second prepolymer comprising a product of reacting an isocyanate and a second polyol. Said second prepolymer is subjected to distillation of light fractions such that content of free monomers of isocyanate therein is less than 0.1 wt %. Isocyanate in the second prepolymer contains toluene diisocyanate. Laminating adhesive composition is substantially free from solvents. Content of primary aromatic amines after 7 days in composition is 0.24 mcg/100 ml.
EFFECT: obtained laminating adhesive composition has high rate of decomposition of primary aromatic amines while maintaining reasonable curing time.
