FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to isocyanate prepolymer, and a method for its preparation, adhesive and single-component self-leveling film-forming composition, obtained by isocyanate prepolymer application. The said prepolymer is prepared by reaction of at least one isocyanate with at least one first compound selected from the group consisting of monohydric alcohols, thiols and secondary amines. The ratio of isocyanate prepolymer NCO value and OH, SH or NH value of the specified monohydric alcohol, thiol or secondary amine, respectively, is in the range of 0.0005 to 1.0000. The total amount of the said first compound is at least 40 wt % of the isocyanate prepolymer weight.
EFFECT: isocyanate-containing prepolymers have a reduced content of free monomer while maintaining good processability, which provides low viscosity, and maintain good mechanical properties of the prepolymer.
