SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to reactor units for chemical production, in particular to versions of a method for scaling a catalytic reactor with a fluidised catalyst. Method includes one or more stages selected from installation, operation, monitoring working process or obtaining data and relating to a basic catalytic reactor with a fluidised catalyst comprising a base riser, basic lower part of reactor and basic transition part connecting base riser and base lower part of reactor, and one or several stages, selected from installation or operation of scaled catalytic reactor based on base catalytic reactor with fluidised catalyst, wherein scaled catalytic reactor with fluidised catalyst comprises scaled riser, scaled lower part of reactor and scaled transition part, connecting scaled riser and scaled lower part of reactor. Ratio of the cross-sectional area of the scaled riser to the base riser cross-section area ranges from 80 % to 120 % of the scaling ratio, ratio of cross-sectional area of scaled lower part of reactor to area of cross-section of base lower part of reactor is from 80 % to 120 % of scaling coefficient, scaling ratio is not less than 1.3 and the height of the scaled transition part is at least 70 % of the width of the scaled riser and from 70 % to 130 % of the height of the basic transition part.

EFFECT: methods provide improvement of scaling process of catalytic reactors with fluidised catalyst.
