METHOD OF TREATING CANCER PATIENTS WITH METASTASES Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61N5/00

Abstract RU 2741711 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used for treating oncological patients. Method involves removing a primary tumour, prior to removal of the primary tumour, a preoperative laser therapy is performed, for which laser therapeutic radiation is applied on all immunocompetent areas of the patient: sore thymus, iliac wings, projection of liver and spleen from front, areas of paravertebral zones of spine behind, as well as percutaneously on blood in large subcutaneous blood vessels with laser radiation of infrared spectrum 700–1000 nm power 100–500 mWt for 5–10 minutes in scanning mode, once day for 3–6 days. In 5–25 days after the primary tumour is removed, the patient undergoes a therapeutic course of laser exposure, for this purpose laser radiation is exposed to wave length 700–1000 nm with power of 100–500 nm for 5–10 minutes for each zone and blood in large subcutaneous vessels in scanning mode, once day for 25–35 days at intervals of 1 day every 5 days of laser exposure, further therapeutic course of laser therapeutic effects is repeated every six months in the absence of metastases. If metastases occur in order to slow the growth of metastases, the method mentioned above is supplemented with laser exposures to the areas of metastases detected, for this purpose, in the therapeutic course program, laser exposure on the zones of detected metastases with the same radiation is additionally introduced into each day session of laser exposures, but with power of 300–500 mWt with a radiation duration of each zone of 5–10 minutes on the area of each detected metastasis; further such therapeutic course is repeated every six months, starting counting from the moment of detecting metastases.

EFFECT: using the invention enables reducing metastases by increasing the patient's own protective systems.
