FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to functional diagnostics, neurophysiology, coloproctology, neurology, urology, gynecology. For diagnosing diseases and conditions accompanying disorders of pelvic floor muscles, interference electromyography (EMG) is performed successively with record of tonic and voluntary bioelectrical activity (BEA) of muscles of the rectal closure apparatus, an anterior abdominal wall, an external sphincter. Additionally, stimulating EMG is transvaginally or transrectally administered. Execution of n. Pudendus is determined. Functional activity of the tibial nerve is determined. Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TCMS) is performed. Central motor conduction time for sexual and tibial nerves is determined.

EFFECT: method enables detecting the presence of peripheral neuropathy on the distal section of the efferent pathway, as well as on afferent sensory and efferent motor ways at the level of sacral plexus due to consistent objective registration of sexual nerve responses in three modes: in M-response registration mode, stimulation with single stimuli with increase in stimulus power from submaximal to supramaximal, then in F-wave mode with rhythmic stimulation, which provides integrated assessment of neurophysiological state of pelvic floor muscles.
