FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to coloproctology, gastroenterology, and can be used in the treatment of proctogenic constipation, in particular obstructive defecation, by biofeedback (BFB). To do this, a latex balloon is inserted into the rectum, followed by filling it with 50 ml of air, then a pressure sensor or an electromyographic sensor (EMS sensor) is inserted into the rectum. In this case, a latex balloon and a pressure sensor or an EMS sensor are introduced to the patient in the supine position on the left side with the legs bent at the knees and brought to the chest. Additionally, two surface EMS sensors are fixed on the anterior abdominal wall, in the projection of the rectus abdominis muscles, while information reflecting pressure or bioelectrical activity from the EMS sensor located in the rectum and two surface EMS sensors is displayed on the screen located in front of through the eyes of the patient. Biofeedback therapy is started 3 minutes after the introduction of the EMS sensor, while biofeedback therapy includes 3 stages, which are performed sequentially: the introductory stage, the first stage, the second stage. The duration of the course of biofeedback therapy is from 10 to 30 days, the duration of one session is 20 minutes.
EFFECT: method provides effective treatment of SOD by biofeedback therapy by performing the developed exercises, divided into stages, which are performed in a certain sequence, which leads to a pronounced positive trend in the correction of pelvic floor muscle dyssynergy, and the patient acquires proper breathing skills when straining and increases in the process of work, the contractility of the muscles of the pelvic floor, the external anal sphincter and the anterior abdominal wall.
