FIELD: turbines or turbomachines.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for controlling the crystallographic orientation of at least one grain of a turbomachine part. Substance of invention consists in the following stages: a) transmitting the electromagnetic radiation beam through the elementary volume of the part and recording the diffraction information on the electromagnetic radiation passing through the part; b) repeating step a) at a predetermined portion of the part; c) determining the spatial orientation of the crystal of each of said elementary volumes and detecting the presence of at least one first crystallographic grain, for which elementary volumes are oriented in accordance with the same crystallographic orientation; d) calculating angular difference between spatial orientation of crystals of said first grain and a predetermined direction relative to part and comparing it with a first predetermined threshold value; and e) determination of part use state.

EFFECT: possibility of detecting the presence of crystallographic grains on the part and determining their individual orientation in order to determine the state of the part of the turbomachine.
