FIELD: random number generators.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for generating truly random numbers, which includes a digital chaotically oscillating autonomous Boolean network as a source of entropy. The network contains three logic gates connected to each other, the first of which is a two-input logical gate "exclusive or" or "exclusive or not", the second is a two-input logical gate "exclusive Or” or “exclusive or not ”, and the third logical element has three inputs and one output and implements the logical function “unit counts”, in which a logical unit is set at its output, if no more than one of its inputs contains a logical unit, otherwise, it is set to logical zero.
EFFECT: increased rate of generation of truly random numbers while reducing energy consumption.
