FIELD: personal protection equipment.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a helmet for protective clothes used when working with components under high voltage, or when operating at a safe distance from high-voltage equipment, or when performing operations associated with exposure to strong electric and/or electromagnetic fields of any frequency and voltage. Helmet comprises a closing element, which is intended to close the head of a technical specialist and in which, at least in upper part of face of technical specialist, there is a hole. Besides, the helmet contains a transparent face screen made of electroconductive fabric. Face screen is detachably fixed to closing element, closing hole, and is electrically connected to screening kit. Fabric has density in range from 25 to 40 g/m2 and consists of multiple threads, linear density of threads is in range from 10 to 30 denier, and each thread has a corresponding core, on which coating from current-conducting metal is applied from outside.
EFFECT: object of the present invention is to provide a helmet for protective clothing which would significantly increase the shielding protection of a technician at very high voltages, as well as to protect technicians from exposure to electric and/or electromagnetic fields of any frequency and voltage, in operation near high-voltage electrical objects or radio-frequency radiating antennae, such as cellular communication repeaters, radio and television retransmitters, radars.
