FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to means of determining and using transport block size (TBS) when two or more basic graphs of code with low density of parity check (LDPC) can be used for LPDC-coding. To this end, in some embodiments, the method comprises steps of determining a transport block size (TBS) for a transport block transmitted between the network node and the wireless device by transmitting over a physical channel, using a formula such that segmentation of the transport block into code blocks leads to code blocks of the same size regardless of which of the two different basic LDPC graphs is used for segmentation on code blocks. Method further comprises transmitting or receiving a transport block in accordance with a defined TBS.
EFFECT: technical result is improved quality of communication.
