FIELD: wireless communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication and can be used for measuring a channel and interference. In order to measure a channel and interference, signalling of non-zero power (NZP) channel status information reference signals (CSI-RS resources) is used. In the method for operation of a subscriber apparatus, a semi-static indication regarding one or more of first sets of NZP CSI-RS resources for measuring the channel and a semi-static indication regarding one or more of second sets of NZP CSI-RS resources for measuring the interference are received from the base station. The subscriber apparatus also receives one or more dynamic indications from the base station, indicating a first set of NZP CSI-RS resources from one or more first sets of NZP CSI-RS resources subject to use by the subscriber apparatus for measuring the channel, and a second set of NZP CSI-RS resources from one or more second sets of NZP CSI-RS resources subject to use by the subscriber apparatus for measuring the interference.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of signalling NZP CSI-RS resources for measuring the channel and interference in the subscriber apparatus.
