FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio electronics, namely to wire communication equipment, and can be used for communication with deep-submerged underwater objects. For this purpose, in the underwater communication system, the hydroacoustic antenna has a housing in which a half-wave resonance rod is placed, which includes a metal strap and an active piezoelectric element, wherein a half-wave metal waveguide connected to the housing in its node plane, end face of the waveguide located inside the housing, and end face of the metal pad free from the piezoelectric element, are mechanically attached to each other with a gap.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of noise immunity of communication and increase in distance of hydroacoustic communication channel due to reduction of own acoustic noise of antenna.
