FIELD: radio electronics; wire communications with deep-diving submarines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed system has shore terminals interconnected by main-line underwater optical cable and underwater repeaters; in addition system is provided with deep-floating underwater sonars connected through cable to underwater repeaters made in the form of submerged amplifier-repeaters; underwater optical cable incorporates copper tube accommodating optical fibers; optical-band transceiving stations that have laser radiators, modulator, adjustable selective filter, and detector are installed in shore terminals of system; underwater repeaters and sonars are remotely supplied with power from shore terminals through copper tube incorporated in optical cable; in order to establish communications with shore terminal, submarine approaches floating sonar within effective range of sonar equipment and transfers information by means of telegraph equipment and its home sonar without surfacing.
