FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of metal powders by centrifugal spraying of blanks. Device includes sealed chamber with plasmatron located along its axis in upper part, and also sprayer equipped with rotation mechanism with spraying disc fixed in it in form of cooled spraying disc, drives of translational and rotary motion of two workpieces located opposite each other with provision of workpieces introduction into plasma jet above centre of spraying disc with intersection of axis of rotation of sprayer in point between plasmatron and disk at angle of 70–80 degrees to vertical, wherein the workpieces are isolated from the device structure elements and connected to the alternating current source.
EFFECT: enabling expansion of technological capabilities of the device when producing powders of refractory and chemically active metals and their alloys, enlarging the nomenclature by fineness of the obtained powders, increasing efficiency and reducing power consumption.
