SUBSTANCE: invention relates to telecommunication and namely to the information transmission technique through a fibre-optic transmission line. For this purpose, a probe pulse generator with an optical radiation source, the first and second fibre-optic branches, a second photodetector, a control and mathematical processing unit, an amplifier with a varying coefficient are additionally installed in a fiber-optic information transmission system containing a light guide and a photodetector.

EFFECT: invention increases resistance of a fibre-optic information transmission line to external factors under the influence of which the attenuation coefficient of its light guide changes, the format of the analogue signal transmitted through it changes or even the transmission of an optical signal through the optical fiber becomes impossible as well as the expansion of its application area.
