FIELD: fiber-optical transmission systems. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to raise quality of communication by means of leveling of transfer characteristic of amplifier. Fiber-optical amplifier has input fiber light guide, two doped fiber light guides, pumping source, two couplers, three optical valves, mixer, photodetector. Resonance line of intensity of transfer characteristic of Fabry-Perot interferometer is used to compensate for amplification characteristic of fiber light guide doped with erbium admixture. Fabry-Perot interferometer based on optical mixer is employed to ensure quality of adjustment of characteristics. Reflectance of its butts is specially selected, distance between butts of mixer can be adjusted. Unit testing intensity of emission in DWDM channels and unit controlling electric voltage of displacement of butts of mixer are utilized to control correctness of adjustment. EFFECT: improved quality of communication thanks to leveling of transfer characteristic of amplifier. 2 dwg
