SUBSTANCE: in embodiments, the conveyor device can include a conveyor belt having a length, a width, a thickness smaller than the width, and a plurality of receiving openings, arranged along the length and continuing through the conveyor belt thickness. Multiple receiving holes have size to receive and retain multiple glass articles. Conveyor drive and direction system directs the conveyor belt along a predetermined conveyor path. Predetermined path of conveyor may include dipping section and drain section. Dipping section can be oriented so as to direct the conveyor belt to and from the immersion station, and the conveyor belt rotates about the horizontal axis in the drain section after being sent from the dive station.
EFFECT: conveyors for holding and transporting glass articles during processing soften occurrence of defects in glass articles held therein, and limiting the introduction of defects into the glass articles, which are less susceptible to destruction.
