SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a storage device for holding and storing glass articles. Accumulating device may comprise bearing frame, rear plate and multiple receiving shelves. Bearing frame can form a front plane and a rear plane. Back plate can be connected with bearing frame and arranged on rear plane formed by bearing frame. Plurality of receiving flanges can be supported on bearing frame between front and rear planes. Each receiving flange can be parallel and located at a distance from adjacent receiving flanges in vertical direction and comprises multiple receiving slots for receiving at least a section of glass article. Device may contain at least one loading stop, which prevents contact of glass items suspended from receiving shelves, with rear plate when storage device is manipulated.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of defects on glass surfaces.
