FIELD: glass industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ion-exchange treatment of glass articles. Disclosed is a method of ion-exchange treatment of glass articles, involving: feeding device for holding and fixing glass articles during processing, placing one or more glass articles in one or more receiving spaces, at least partial immersion of the device into an ion-exchange bath for contacting data of one or more glass articles with an ion-exchange bath. Note here that multiple receiving spaces are formed in said device to retain glass articles and device comprises: lower support base comprising a plurality of flow channels; a glass article fixing element located above the lower support base and comprising a plurality of holes for holding glass articles; and a closing plate located above the glass articles fixing element and comprising a plurality of flow channels. Each element of lower support base, element for fixation of glass articles and closing plate is essentially flat. Lower support base, glassware fixing element and closing plate are substantially parallel to each other. Each glass product storage hole intended for fixing glass articles defines the width of the receiving space, and the lower support base and the closing plate define the height of the receiving space.

EFFECT: technical result is reduced risk of glass breaking at simultaneous possibility of complete contact of inner and outer zones of glass articles with process baths.
