FIELD: medical technology.

SUBSTANCE: automatic tonometer with a liquid-pneumatic measuring device includes a cuff with two flexible air tubes, a microcompressor, an electromagnetic bleed valve, a microphone, a controller and a measuring device. The measuring device consists of a sealed vessel, the upper part of which is connected to one of the flexible air tubes coming from the cuff, and the lower part of the reservoir is connected to the lower part of two vertically installed capillaries, along which two scales are located, through tee and two normally open solenoid valves. The upper parts of the vertically installed capillaries have expansions, the volume of which can be fixedly changed and connected to the atmosphere through two normally closed solenoid valves. The working medium in the measuring device is colored water which is poured into sealed vessel in such an amount that there is air cavity above its surface.
