SUBSTANCE: invention relates to data acquisition systems. The method is carried out using a digital device that includes data transmission to the server. Preliminarily, a software product is installed into a digital device that provides user authorization and connection to the server's electronic database. Personal data about the deceased person and the coordinates of the location of his grave are entered. Depending on the location of the authorized user in relation to the burial place of the deceased person, the coordinates of the location are recorded using a satellite navigation sensor or a wireless transceiver, or a radio module, or by visualizing interactive maps on a digital device display. The presence or absence of the entered personal data and values of the location coordinates is recorded. If the aforementioned data is absent, the corresponding data is entered using the keyboard of the digital device. The data is transmitted to the server and checked for the presence or absence of duplication of the received data. If there is no duplication, this data is saved in the database structure on the server. If there is duplication, the authorized user is informed through the display of the digital device. Depending on search queries generated by the authorized user, the server database is searched and the data is displayed on the digital device display.
