FIELD: navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention "Integrated system for navigation of ships and supply vessels of the Navy" relates to the field of navigation, to apparatuses for navigation calculation. The substantial features are the use of the following in the complex: a single electronic cartographic system, display and control units; a navigation monitor with touch control; automated work places; automated mobile sets of authorised persons; the principle of modularity of the elements thereof based on the software of electronic cartographic navigation information systems on all display and control units at each command post of the ship, united by three servers executing reception, processing, security, and broadcasting of the required information via wired and wireless communication channels to ship consumers, a local computing network equipped with primary and backup channels for navigation data transmission, eliminating information losses in combat and emergency damage.
EFFECT: provided navigational safety of travel and generation of the required data for ship consumers with an increase in the reliability, versatility of the system, and expansion of the functional capabilities thereof.
