FIELD: lifting technology.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to a method for controlling a lifting system and a lifting system, preferably for motor vehicles (11). The system comprises at least two movable posts (4) which are actuated simultaneously. The method comprises the following steps: the user shall approach each post (4) alternately in any order, which must be registered as being related to the system and which operates on at least one start command, in the corresponding user interface of each of the posts (4) designed to register the posts as belonging to the lifting system without installing or identifying any or the relative position of the posts and their working positions in relation to the cargo to be lifted (11), as well as the sequence of their position relative to the cargo to be lifted (11), while the user interface of each of the posts (4) is realized in this way, that it does not provide the user with any information concerning the position of the post which the user influences in relation to the other uprights and cargo (11). The user then physically moves each registered post (4) in any order to place it in any of the working areas or in any position provided for lifting the specified cargo (11). The user shall then approach one of the registered posts (4) and, by influencing the user interface of the above-mentioned post, assign to the said post the function of a control post relative to the other posts of the given lifting system, form a command by influencing the user interface of the control post to simultaneously lift/lower one and/or all the posts of the lifting system.
