FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy of noble metals, particularly concentration of gold from magnetic fraction of mechanical treatment of ore to produce magnetic product containing 50-500 g/t of extracted metal. Gold is extracted from gold ore concentrates into lead alloy in presence of molten alkali while mixing the system by blade mixer together with gold-containing concentrate. As gold material is used magnetic scrap, which is added to system of lead melt - molten alkali at temperature of 550-600°C and weight ratio of Pb:NaOH:scrap as 1:1:(3÷4), at stirring speed of 300-350 rpm for 30-40 minutes. Thereafter, magnets are immersed in molten metal to remove iron scrap from alkaline melt.
EFFECT: method provides separation of gold-free scrap from alkaline pulp with high extraction of gold into lead.
