VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM FOR HOSPITAL Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC H04N7/18

Abstract RU 2742822 C2

FIELD: video monitoring.

SUBSTANCE: result is achieved by the fact that a video surveillance system for a hospital comprises several chambers (2, 3, 4) for obtaining video data for monitoring several areas (5, 6, 7) in which the patients are. Video data are transmitted from cameras to display device and used to determine physiological parameters of patients, wherein physiological indicators are indicators of vital functions. Bandwidths for transmitting video data are allocated depending on certain physiological parameters. Thus, allocation of bandwidth takes into account physiological states of patients, which can provide sufficient bandwidth where it really needs. This is especially useful if total bandwidth is limited. Also, since video data are used to perform several functions, that is to observe several areas in which patients are found, and determining physiological indicators, entire system can be very compact and may require fewer additional physiological sensors or may be absent.

EFFECT: technical result is providing a video surveillance system for a hospital which enables to monitor patients by video data.
